Ethereum Gas Overview
Current cost to transact on Ethereum mainnet, in gwei.
0.1gwei

0.1gwei
~$0.004785 per transfer
Base fee
0.10 gwei
ETH price
$1,899.00
Estimated transfer cost assumes a standard 21,000 gas limit for a simple ETH send. Smart contract interactions (swaps, mints, bridging) use more gas and cost more. Source: public Ethereum RPC. Updated 1:43:36 PM.
How Ethereum gas works
Every Ethereum transaction consumes gas, a unit measuring computational effort. Since EIP-1559, each block has a base fee that is burned and adjusts automatically with demand, plus an optional priority fee (tip) that goes to validators to speed up inclusion. Fees spike during popular mints, market volatility, and network congestion, and fall when activity is quiet.
